found

noun · the second of seven stages

Why it matters

Found is a gate. If a buyer never comes across you, the other stages can’t count, so the Selectability Score is zero.

Not to be confused with

Known, which is being remembered before the buyer looks. And AEO or GEO, practices that raise how often AI mentions a brand: they work on Found, not the five stages after it.

How Found is measured.

The share of a buyer’s questions, asked without your name, in which an AI assistant names you. Five assistants, three times each, so the rate carries a range.
