Problems we solve · Green dashboards, flat sales

Every dashboard is green. Sales are flat.

Reach, mentions and visits are up. Revenue isn’t. Your dashboards measure whether you’re seen. Buyers decide whether you’re picked, and that happens somewhere else.

An illustration, not a client’s numbers.

Why the numbers don’t add up.

You measure being seenImpressions, mentions and visits all count the first two stages: Known and Found.
Seen is two of sevenA buyer can find you, and still drop you at Answered, Believed, Preferred or Bought. Your dashboards can’t see those.
Doing nothing wins mostOf qualified deals, 40% to 60% end with no decision at all. Dixon and McKenna, about 2.5 million recorded sales calls.
Reach rises on its ownSpend more and reach goes up. Whether buyers then pick you is a different question, with a different answer.

Your dashboards stop at Found.

What most dashboards measureWhere the choice is made

Kept is measured once a buyer has bought. The other four are where most choices are lost, and most marketing reporting is silent about them.

Measure the stages you can’t see.

By hand, free
  1. Write down your main buyer’s five moments, from noticing to buying.
  2. Ask an AI assistant their questions at each moment, without your name in them.
  3. Note at which stage you drop out: not answered, not believed, not preferred.
  4. Fix that one stage first, and ask the same questions again next quarter.

Questions, answered.

Are our dashboards wrong?

No. They measure what they say. They just measure being seen, and being seen is two of the seven stages a buyer goes through.

Should we stop tracking reach?

No. Known and Found are gates: if you’re not found, nothing else counts. Keep them, and add the five stages after.

Will the score explain our sales?

Not on its own. Nobody has yet shown that a selectability score moves with market share, and no measure outranks your own sales data. It tells you where buyers drop you, and what to fix first.

What does it cost?

The score is free for any brand. Plans run from A$199 a month (Solo) to Command, from A$5,000 a month, in Australian dollars excluding GST. You start paying when you ask RocMode to make the work live.
